Our Services

Three Deliberate Services.
No More, No Less.

Each service at Vesta Council has a precise description and a clear output. You will know before booking exactly what you are receiving and what falls outside that service.

Our Methodology

How We Approach Every Engagement

Every service at Vesta Council begins with an unhurried enquiry call or written exchange. We want to understand what you have, what you are hoping to achieve, and whether our service is genuinely the right fit for that need.

We do not offer services outside our defined scope. If a question or need falls outside what we do — legal interpretation, financial modelling, medical reading — we say so clearly and, where possible, point you toward an appropriate professional.

Services are delivered by named team members whose backgrounds are outlined on our company page. Participants know who will be coming to their home, or who will be running their session, before they confirm the booking.

Initial Assessment

We learn about your situation before recommending which service fits, or whether any service is needed at all.

Scoped Delivery

The service is delivered as described. Nothing added without discussion. Nothing removed without explanation.

Tangible Output

Each service concludes with something the participant can hold, keep, and use independently going forward.

Service One

Personal Records Indexing

A clerical service that helps a participant build a clear personal index of their important records — identification, employment history, savings statements, and family correspondence. The work is administrative: documents are sorted, labelled, scanned where the participant chooses, and a written index is produced. No content of any document is interpreted as advice.

What Is Included

  • Full document inventory at session start
  • Sorting by category and chronological order
  • Clear labelling using participant-chosen naming
  • Optional scanning to participant's own device
  • Written personal index delivered at session end

Process Steps

1
Inventory: All documents laid out and listed without sorting.
2
Category agreement: Participant and team member agree on logical groupings.
3
Sort and label: Documents organised, labelled, and arranged.
4
Index creation: Written index compiled and handed to participant.

Service Two

Retirement Vocabulary Course

A short course of four ninety-minute sessions devoted purely to the language used in retirement paperwork — definitions, glossary terms, common phrases, and how to recognise them in written text. The aim is reading fluency, not decision-making. Each participant receives a printed glossary that they can use when reading their own documents at home.

What Is Included

  • Four sessions of ninety minutes each
  • Vocabulary drawn from participants' actual documents
  • Definitions explained in plain, accessible language
  • Practice reading passages from retirement correspondence
  • Printed glossary tailored to the cohort's documents

Course Structure

1
Session 1: Core pension terms — contributions, benefits, drawdown, annuity.
2
Session 2: Official correspondence — how government and institutional letters are structured.
3
Session 3: Participant-brought documents — working through real examples together.
4
Session 4: Review, Q&A, and glossary compilation and printing.

Service Three

Reading Companion Service for Elderly Family Members

A scheduled visit service in which a calm reader spends two hours with an elderly family member reading aloud — letters, information sheets, books, family correspondence. The reader does not interpret or advise; the visit is purely a companionable reading session. Suited for families who want a kind voice to read paperwork or correspondence with an older relative.

What Is Included

  • A two-hour in-home visit at a time chosen by the family
  • Reading aloud of letters, documents, or books
  • Calm, unhurried presence — no agenda other than reading
  • Trained readers, background-checked and briefed
  • Written summary of what was read, provided to family

Visit Process

1
Family consultation: We speak with the arranging family member to understand the relative's preferences and any specific documents to be read.
2
Reader introduction: The assigned reader is introduced by name and photo before the visit.
3
In-home visit: Two hours of unhurried reading at the family member's home.
4
Written summary: A brief note of what was read, provided to the family after the visit.
